From June until September 2004 were seen 900 whale sharks in the area. During the same season were seen 106 whale sharks in los Angeles Bay (Rodríguez, 2001) and 124 in the Gulf of México during 1989 y 1998 (Burks, 1999). The best record in South Africa with an average of 7.26 whale sharks saw per hour in each fly in 1993. (CITES, 2001) against almost 25 whale sharks saw per hour in each fly of this zone (dates del 2004). In Belice were identify 47 whale sharks with photos and registered against the 173 that were photo register and marked for study in the Atlantic

(CITES, 2001). 162 were photo identified in the Nigaloo, Ausralia (Colman, 1997 CITES, 2001).

Is clear That more whale sharks visited this area than others visited by these species.

Also were seen little wale sharks of 3 meters long that have been registered. (- Donsol, Filipinas).

Island Boat adventure has a dynamic participation in the investigation of the migratory routes of these species that visit our Mexican Caribbean Sea. Taken a record of each whale shark saw : Our company staff is coordinated with the SEMARNAP (Ambience protection federal secretary of state) and the Conap (National commission of protected Natural areas).We inform all the details as part of the project “Domino” as it Know the research of these marine fauna.
