  The Mexican Caribbean Ocean every year from June until September receives these singular guests well known as: SHARKS WHALES OF THE ATLANTIC (Rhincodon typus).

Every year from May, is possible to see these wonderful species that let the lovers of the Seas enjoy of this natural show. When the sharks whales come out to feed themselves of plankton these really big fishes afraid and contrast with their peaceful attitude. mystery of the ocean World could be. The first scientist record’s of these species were reported by Andrew Smith from an animal harpooned at the “Table “bay in South Africa: He suggested the classification of Rhincodon that were accepted years later for the International Zoo named commission in 1984.

The whale shark is the biggest fish of the Ocean World. It colors are gray and dark blue with white circular stinks, vertical and horizontal lines (white and yellow) in it back. It stomach and chest is white. These colors are the reason to named “domino” and “Damero”. Every Shark has a unique patron that let they have their individual identification with out any important modification when they grow up. They have two shark fins along their back, but their mouth is big and covers all it front to facilitate eat plankton. It eyes are really small and they are located from one lateral extreme to the other of it head.

The chest fins are really powerful and the pelvic ones are small, over of them you can find out the first dorsal fin and the caudal one which are very big and semicircular, providing enough power to move it big body.

It feeds it self swallowing big quantities of water that filters a variety of plankton and nekton, including little crustaceous like krill, crabs larva and little fishes like sardines, mackerel and sometimes tuna and squid.

They move according of the high primary production in zones rich in nutrients. They move to special places looking for the fish’s eggs aggregations like in Belize and during the massive aggregation of corals in Australia.

  The male has two reproduction organs you can see extended from each ventral fin that they use to fertilizes the female. Inside the Female the embryo Develops it self with eggs that came out as long as the new baby shark live. There is not fixed embryo to the placenta.
